The Works of the Reverend John Flavell volume II, first edition published in 1701. John Flavel (1627–1691) was an English Puritan Presbyterian minister and author, his writings have been in continuous publication to this day. The book is half leather marbled board, evident wear to the cover and the front cover strengthened with tape at the crease, the text block is solid, tight and generally clean. This is an extremely rare first edition of an important work.
